Adoption Support Alliance has created three pathways to support, three ways that families can enhance their family functioning and develop a community around them that is supportive and knowledgable about adoption.
Education
Adoption Support Alliance offers classes for adults as well as children and adults on a variety of topics related to adoption. We want families to make an adoption plan knowledgeable about the process, factors to consider and potential difficulties. If you are better equipped with relevant knowledge, you will make better decisions leading to long-term success.
Community Building
Adoption Support Alliance recognizes that one of the key components of long-term success is to be surrounded by a community of individuals that know and understand your family's experiences. We offer avenues to develop that community through our agency.
Counseling
Adoption Support Alliance knows that adoptive families experience problems that are unique to the adoption experience. And, sometimes, these problems need the help of a professional, experienced therapist. We have licensed clinicians on staff to serve your counseling needs.
